UFC Fight Night San Antonio adds Craig vs. Ferreira
A Middleweight showdown between Native Texan Andrew Craig (9-2) and TUF Brazil season 1 winner Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira (7-3) has wondered on to the UFC Fight Night San Antonio card.
Craig started in the UFC 2-0 defeating Kyle Noke (UD) and Rafael Natal (KO), before losing to Ronny Markes (UD). In his last 2 Craig has scored a split decision win over Chris Leben. But will be looking to rebound from a submission loss to Luke Barnatt.
Ferreira, Vitor Belfort’s protege and a fellow member of the Blackzilians won the TUF Brazil season 1 with a unanimous decision over Sregio Moraes; and followed that up with victories over Thiago Santos (SUB) and Daniel Sarafian (SD). “Mutante” will now be looking to bounce back from a knock out loss to CB Dollaway.
UFC Fight Night San Antonio take place on on June 28th, at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas; and is headlined by Cub Swanson vs. Jeremy Stephens.
