Camoes Meets Maynard at UFC 176
In a newly announced match-up for UFC 176 Brazilian Fabricio “Morango” Camoes (14-8-1) will face TUF 5 alum and former 2-time Lightweight title challenger Gray “The Bully” Maynard (11-3-1).
Maynard a member of the American Kickboxing Academy is 1-3-1 over the 3 ½ years. “The Bully” is looking to get back in the win column following a pair of TKO losses to TJ Grant and Nate Diaz. Maynard has went the distance in 9 of 11 victories.
Camoes a member of the Black House is 3-3-1 in his last 7. “Morango” is his last 2 bout has dropped a decision to Melvin Guillard and been submitted by a Jim Miller armbar. Camoes has 7 of 11 stoppages by submission.
UFC 176 is on August 2 at the Stape Center in Los Angeles, California; and is headlined by Chad Mendes challenging Jose Aldo for the UFC Featherweight title for the second time.
