Field set for Battlegrounds MMA- O.N.E. One Night Elimination
On July 27 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Battlegrounds MMA- O.N.E. One Night Elimination take place. The winner of the 8-man 1-night tournament will have fought 3 times and will receive $50,000.
Opening-round match-ups for the tournament will be done at the weigh-ins, by a random drawing.
Brock Larsen (37-8)- UFC, WEC, KOTC, Shark Fight, RFA vet who is 4-1 in his last 5, coming off a One FC loss to Nobutatsu Suzuki. 26 of 37 win by submission.
Cody McKenzie (15-4)- UFC vet with 13 of 14 wins by submission and coming off submitting Mark Dobie.
Dennis Hallman (53-14-2)- UFC, Strikeforce, Titan, IFL, KOTC vet who is on a 3 fight win streak coming off a submission of Aleksey Shapovalov.”Superman” has 41 of 53 wins by submission.
Luigi Fioravanti (24-11)- UFC & M-1 Vet who has won 2 fights in a row over Edwin Aguilar (SUB) and Joshua Thorpe (TKO). “The Italian Tank” has 10 of 15 stoppages by (T)KO.
David Mitchell (13-4)- A Tachi Palace Fights & UFC vet who has won 2 in a row over Fernando Gonzalez (TKO) and Jamie Jara (SUB). “Bulletproof” has 10 of 11 stoppages by submission.
Chris Honeycutt (4-0)- Oviously the least experienced of the group, “The Cutt” has 3 1st round stoppage wins, 2 TKO’s and 1 submission.
Roan Carneiro (16-9)- UFC vet who has won 4 of 5 with submissions of Jung Hwan Cha and Sean Huffman. “Jucao” has 8 of 9 stoppage wins by submission.
