After 11 frustrating months of fights falling through and opponents backing out, Russell Wilson on June 14 returns to the cage, in the co-main event of Triple A MMA VII: Rock Stars; taking on Perez Fighting Systems Derek Perez. Wilson shared some of his time with us to talk about the last 11 month, where his game has progressed the most, what he learned form his lat 2 Bellator fights, and what it will take to come out with his hand raised at “Rock Stars”.
