Orthrus Promotions Preview Video for Triple A MMA VIII: Rivals
On Saturday, July 26, Orthrus Promotions returns to the Crowne Plaza (1901 University Blvd) for Triple A MMA VIII: Rivals. Three bouts sure to bring the crowd to a roar make up the main card.The main event pits Jackson’s-Wink’s Conrad Padilla (5-1) against Fit NHB’s Isaiah Reyes (7-4). Padilla looks to get back in the win column after his first pro blemish, a unanimous decision loss to Nick Rhodes in the Jackson MMA Series 11 main event. Padilla has 2 stoppage wins both by (T)KO. Reyes a 7-time vet of King of the Cage, is coming off a split decision loss to Jeff Fletcher, ending a 2 fight win streak. Reyes has 5 of 6 stoppage wins by submission.
XFC vet Joby Sanchez (4-2 mixedmartialsarts.com)(5-0 sherdog), who will be for the first time fighting as amember of the Jackson-Wink fight team, makes his Triple A MMA debut, on a 4 fight win streak; against Arizona’s Richard Delhin (1-1). Delhin is coming off 3rd RD TKO loss to Adrian Yanez.
In a Women’s Flyweight bout West-side Power Gym’s Lindsay Jones, coming off a decision win over Shelee Williamson makes the jump to the pro ranks, and welcoming the “Amazon Barbie” will be, Get Fit Gym’s Jessica Armstrong (0-3 sherdog); who is coming off a July 2013 TKO loss to Alida Gray.
