Pair of Additions announced for Bellator 132
A 2nd rematch has been added to Bellator 132 as Houston Alexander (16-10-1) & Virgil Zwicker (12-4-1) will meet for the 2nd time in 4 months coming off fighting to a majority draw at Bellator 129.
The other newly announced bout is in the Welterweight division and pits Marius Zaromskis (20-8) vs. Fernand Gonzalez (22-13).
Alexander is (3-1-1) in his last 5 and going into Bellator 129 had scored a TKO of Matt Uhde at Bellator 117. Zwicker is (3-2-1) in his last 6 and heading into Bellator 129 was coming off a submission loss to Linton Vassell at Bellator 122. Alexander and Zwicker combined have 25 stoppage wins with 20 by (T)KO.
Zaromskis is the winner of 6 of his last 8 and at Bellator 119 scored a unanimous decision win over Vaughan Anderson, which halted a 2 fight losing streak. Gonzalez has entered the Bellator cage twice and scored upset victories both times with a unanimous decision defeating Karl Amoussou and a TKO stopping the comeback of Karo Parisyan.
Bellator 132 will be on January 16, at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California; and is headlined by Daniel Straus challenging Patricio Freire for the Bellator Featherweight ttile.
