Cason Injured, East now Faces Coe
Joe Cason (9-1) has been forced out of Legacy 40 with a torn ACL. Cody “The Freight Train ” East (9-1) will instead make his first title defense against Brice Ritani-Coe (4-2).
East was last in the cage at Legacy 36, winning his 2nd world title with a 1st round TKO of Vernon Lewis. East is also a former King of the Cage Heavyweight champion who never lost The title.
In his native New Zealand, Coe is decorated amateur boxer, now lives in Las Vegas and trains at syndicate MMA. After 4 years away from the cage Coe returned to action st Legacy 39 knocking out Dale Mitchell in under two minutes.
Legacy 40 is on March 20th at Wild Bills in Atlanta, Georgia.
