Legacy FC vs. RFA, May 8th
Promotional worlds collide on May 8th in Tunica, Mississippi, as AXS TV staples Legacy Fighting Championships and Resurrection Fighting Alliance go head to head in a co-promotional spectacular.
The event will be topped by Legacy Flyweight champion Damaico Page facing RFA Flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja with the winner receiving a one-of-a-kind superfight belt, prominently featuring AXS TV, RFA and Legacy.
Page and Pantoja both won their titles in Albuquerque, New Mexico and have not fought since. Page has won 3 fights in a row and is 4-0 in the Legacy cage. Page won his title at Legacy 36 with a 1st round knock out of Brian Hall, that was widley considered the 2014 knock of the year. Pantoja has won 8 consecutive fights including at RFA 18 choking out Matt Manzanares to take hold of the RFA Flyweight title.
This event will also feature 2 co-main events with Terrion “Flash” Ware challenging Luke “Cool Hands” Sanders for the RFA Bantamweight title and Dave “The Duke” Burrow clashes with Mike “The Greek” Bronzoulis for the vacant Legacy Lightweight title.
Sanders is yet to taste defeat in the cage and has 6 of his 9 wins by knock out, including his 1st round TKO of Jarred Mercado to win the RFA Bantamweight title. Ware has won 8 of his last 9 and is coming off a RFA 23 main event, unanimous decision win over Joe Murphy.
Burrow has won 5 in a row all by armbar, including his recent come from behind 3rd round win over Anthony Njokuani at Legacy 38. Bronzoulis is 2-0 in Legacy having submitted Justin Reiswerg and knocked out Jonathan Harris, but did miss weight in both bouts.
