Jackson-Wink fighter, UFC and Strikeforce vet Isaac Valie-Flagg (14-6-1) will be fighting back here in his home state of New Mexico for the first time in nearly 4 years, on June 6th against Travis “Iron Chin” Coyle (13-7), in the main event of Jackson’s MMA Series XV; at the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino.
Vallie-Flagg has dropped 3 straight decisions to Elias Silverio, Takanori Gomi, and Matt Wiman. Prior to this streak Vallie-Flagg went undefeated in 12 straight, including split decision wins over Gesias Cavalcante and Yves Edwards. Vallie-Flagg last fought in New Mexico at Jackson’s MMA Series IV defeating Danny Rodriguez by 2nd round TKO.
Coyle is a native of Colorado and member of Team Juggernaut, who is 4-2 in his last 6 fights and has 11 career wins by submission. After being submitted by Marcus Davis, Coyle went on a 4 fight winning streak submitting Cedric Marks, Brandon Crespin, Ryan Braun, and Sean Peters; before getting submitted 9 months ago by Josh Neer in a Victory Fighting Championships title bout.
