Pair of Main Card Bouts for Bellator 139 Announced

Bellator MMA will be at the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas on June 26^th for Bellator 139.The first two bouts announced for the card will see Kansas’s own David “The Caveman” Rickles (16-3) against well traveled Canadian John “The Natural” Alessio (35-17) and at Featherweight Goiti Yamauchi (18-2) takes on former Bellator Featherweight champion Pat “Paddy Mike” Curran (20-7).

Rickles is a former Lightweight title challenger, who since failing to dethrone Michael Chandler for the Bellator Lightweight title has defeated JJ Ambrose (TKO), lost to Patricky Freire, and most recently rebounded with a unanimous decision win over Davi Ramos.

Alessio a UFC vet and member of Xtreme Coutre, who ended a 3 fight losing streak at Bellator 119 with a unanimous decision win over Eric Wisley.

Yamauchi is 4-1 in Bellator, on a 2 fight winning streak. Rebounding from a unanimous decision loss to Will Martinez, with a decision win over Mike Richman and a submission of Martin Stapleton; which was Yamauchi’s 14^th submission win of his career.

Curran the former Bellator 145 lbs. kingpin, is 3-1 in his last 4 fight. Curran lost to Daniel Straus (UD) at Bellator 106, avenged the loss at Bellator 112 with 5^th round submission; but since has lost consecutive decisions to Patricio Freire and Daniel Weichel.
