Dynamite adds Glory Bout Featuring Bellator Welterweights Daley & Gonzalez
Bellator Welterweights Paul “Semtex” Daley (37-13-2, MMA) & Fernando Gonzalez (24-13, MMA) will put on the big gloves and battle each other in a Glory rules kickboxing match as part of Bellator 142 “Dynamite” on September 19th at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
Daley has won 8 of his last 9 and 4 in a row coming off scoring his 27th win by knock stopping Dennis Olson in the 2nd round of there Bellator 140 match-up.
A journeyman for the majority of his career Gonzalez has carved out a place for himself in Bellator following consecutive wins over Karl Amoussou (ud), Karo Parisyan (tko), Marius Zaromskis (ud), and Curtis Millender (sub). Gonzalez has 9 of 16 stoppage wins by knock out.
The main event of Bellator 142 “Dynamite” is Tito Ortiz challenging Lima McGeary for the Bellator Light Heavyweight title.
