Sanchez vs. Rhoads Headlines Jackson’s MMA Series XVI
The Jackson’s MMA Series will be back at the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino on Saturday October 17th with a stacked card featuring a Featherweight main event that will see former King of the Cage World Champion Donald Sanchez (30-15) of Jackson-Wink MMA against Arizona’s Nick Rhoads (8-2) of Apex MMA.
Sanchez is a vet of Bellator, One FC, Legacy, RFA, Shooto and the above mentioned KOTC, who has been fighting professionally for nearly a decade. Sanchez in 5-2 in his last with 3 decision wins. Sanchez will be looking to rebound from an RFA 22 submission loss to Mark Dickman, who weigh-ed in for that bout more then 10 lbs. over weight. Sanchez has 23 wins by stoppage with 12 knock out and 11 submissions.
Rhoads is currently on a 5 fight win streak that includes wins over New Mexico fighters Conrad Padilla of Jackson-Wink MMA , who Rhoads took a unanimous decision win from in Jackson’s MMA Series 11 main event and a TKO via doctors stoppage, of FIT HNB’s Thomas Schulte from January of this year. Rhoads has 4 of 5 stoppage wins by submission.
Also on the pro side of the card Santa Fe’s own Natalie Roy (2-1) is excepted to be in action. On the amateur side of the card names like Josh Morales and Jesona Ollis have been mentioned.
