Jackson’s MMA Series XVI adds Dorian Dixon vs. Javier Palacios
This evening it’s been announced that Lightweights Dorian Dixon (4-1) of ABQ BJJ & Conquest Martial Arts will be facing undefeated Javier Palacios (3-0) of JacksonWink MMA at October 17th’s Jackson’s MMA Series XVI.
Dixon is also a pro Boxer who has held several amateur Kickboxing titles. Dixon is currently on a 4 fight win streak, with 3 victories coming via 1st round stoppage, including in April win over John Rozema, who was forced to tap from a triangle choke at King of the Cage “Cutting Edge”.
Palacios started off his pro won with back to back decision wins over Steven Ortega and Richard Jacques. Palacios last fought in Texas, in July of 2014, on short notice he submitted Desmond Hill with a nasty guillotine choke.
The Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino will be the host for Jackson’s MMA Series XVI, headlined by Donald Sanchez taking on Nick Rhoads.
