Legend vs. Legend & Street Fighter vs. Street Fight at Bellator Feb. 19th
Scott Crocker announced at Bellator 145 that on February 19th in Houston Texas, Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson (5-2) will face Dhafir “Dada 5000” Harris (2-0) and Royce Gracie (14-2-3) battles Ken Shamrock (28-16-2) for the 3rd time.
Ferguson successfully returned to MMA after a 5 year hiatus at Bellator 138, scoring a 1st round TKO of Ken Shamrock. Kimbo Slice made a man fro himself online fighting in street fight. From those days Ferguson has become a true combat sports vet with his 7 MMA fights and a 7-0 Boxing record. Harris a fellow street fighter and youtube sensation, has not officially fought since a February 2011, 1st round TKO of Tim Papp.
Gracie hasn’t competed in MMA since a June 2007 unanimous decision win over Kazushi Sakuraba at K-1 Hero’s “Dynamit!”. Shamrock was submitted by Gracie at UFC 1 with a rear naked choke. At UFC 5 the two fought to a draw and they will now settle the score 20 years later. Shamrock last fought at Bellator 138 suffering a TKO loss to Kimbo Slice, in his 1st fight in almost 5 years.
