Kongo Meets Sakai at Bellator 150
The newest addition to Bellator 150 is a Heavyweight match-up that will see French MMA vet, Cheick Kongo (23-10-2) against undefeated Brazilian, Augusto Saki (9-0).
Since joining Bellator MMA in the 2nd half of 2013, Kongo has went 5-2 in the promotion. In June Kongo defeated former Bellator Heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov, rebounding from a decision loss to “King Mo”. Kongo has been fighting as a pro since 2001 and has 12 of 16 stoppage wins by knock out.
Sakai is 4-0 in Bellator, with a knock out, 2 technical knock outs, and is coming off a unanimous decision win over Alex Huddleston. Sakai has 7 wins by knock out and 4 have come in the first round.
Bellator 150 will be on February 26th, at the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansa; and is headlined by Eduardo Dantas challenging Marcos Galvao for the Bellator Bantamweight Championship.
