Bryan Barberena now meets Sage Northcutt at UFC on Fox 18
Injury has forced Andrew Holbrook to withdraw from UFC on Fox 18, instead Bryan “Bam Bam” Barerena (10-3) will take on “Super” Sage Northcutt (7-0).
Barberena was originally scheduled to face Jonavin Webb the same. Webb is expected to get a new opponent.
Barberena is a member of the MMA Lab, who’s won 7 of his last 8. In his octagon debut at UFC on Fox 13, Barberena scored a TKO of Joe Ellenberger, but will be looking to rebound from a UFC 186 unanimous decision loss to Chad Laprise.
Northcutt is a Texan who has never seen the final bell. Inside the octagon Northcutt is 2-0 with TKO of Francisco Trevino and a submission of Cody Pfister.
UFC On Fox 18 takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey; and is headlined by Ryan Bader vs. Anthony Johnson.
