Lightweight strikers John “The Bull” Makdessi (13-5) & Mehdi “The Sultan” Baghdad (11-4) have agreed to meet at June 4th’s UFC in 199.
Makdessi is a member of the Tristar Gym, who’s lost 3 of his last 4 and 2 in a row. Makdessi is coming off a UFC 194, split decision loss to Yancy Medeiros. “The Bull” has 9 stoppage wins all by knock out. Baghdad is a member of the Black House and is a former RFA Lightweight champion. Baghdad is coming off a UFC Fight Night 81, first round submission loss, to Chris Wade; which ended a 7 fight win streak. Baghdad has 8 of 11 stoppage wins by knockout.
UFC 199 is June 4th at the Forum in Los Angeles California; and features both the UFC Bantamweight and Middleweight titles on the line.
