Saturday, June 25th ,in Dallas Josh “Pitbull” Torres (15-4-2) will take on former WBO World Champion Mike Alvarado (35-4). The bout will be contested at Welterweight and is scheduled for 8 rds. The fight will be televised on UniMas, on the Solo Boxeo series.
Torres is a former WBC title holder, who has 7 wins by knockout and is coming off a December, TKO win over Daniel Gonzalez. Alvarado, 7 weeks ago ended a 3 fight losing streak with his 24th career knock out win, stopping Saul Corral, in Houston, Texas.
