Legacy Boxing Promotions next event “Albuquerque Elite Warriors” will be September 24th, at the MCM Elegante Hotel. The night main event will feature the continuation of a 2014 8-rounder that left everyone wanting more.
August 30th 2014, almost 2 years ago, Battle at Sunset, Josh Torres and Phoenix, Arizona’s, Jose Murrufo fought for 8 grueling rounds. After the final bell both men held there hands high believing victory was there’s. The decision a split draw and a sour test left in both mouths. Time may be right for this score to be settled. Josh “Pitbull” Torres is coming off a hard fought majority decision loss to Mike Alvarado. Marrufo has won 2 of his last 3, but will be looking to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Alfonso Olvera.
Undefeated Jason Sanchez, who took a unanimous decision from Raymond Chacon in the main event of Aztec Warfare, will be back fighting for Legacy Promotions in the co-main event; against Las Cruces Juan Carlos Guillen. Guillen has 3 knock out win but will be looking to end a 4 fight skid.
Another highly intriguing yet to be confirmed bout would pit Albuquerque’s Jose Luis Sanchez against Las Vegas, NM, Arturo “El Toro” Crespin. Sanchez is on a 3 fight win streak, coming off a Aztec Warfare decision win over Zamir Young. In May Crespin ended a 3 fight skid with a majority decision win over Renan Ruis, but is coming off a July 2, knock out loss to Inocente Fiz.
