Pair of Fit NHB Fighters Challenge for KOTC Titles Oct. 8
King of the Cage “Social Disorder” on October 8th at the WinnaVegas Casino Resort in Sloan, Iowa will feature 4 world titles bouts, with 3 of them being on the professional side of the card. Two of the those 3 will feature Fit NHB, New Mexico WildBunch fighters, Nicco Montano and Sidiah Parker.
In a battle for the KOTC Womens Jr Flyweight (125 lbs.) World Title Nicco Montano (2-1) will tangle with Jamie Milanowski (1-0). After a 5-0 amateur run that saw every fight ended by stoppage, Montano won her pro debut with a 1st round TKO of Stacey Sigala. Then at KOTC “Frozen War” Montano was handed her 1st lost, via split decision to Pam Sorenson. This past August, Montano rebounded, in her first trip to 125 lbs., with a unanimous decision win Shana Dobson, at KOTC “Duke City”. Milanowski went 6-0 as an amateur with 5 stoppage wins, and won title in 2 promotions. In June at KOTC “Firefight” Milanowski won her pro debut with a 2nd round mission of Yumi Matsumoto.
Sidiah Parker (14-5) and Matt Gable (11-4-1) battle for the vacant KOTC Middleweight (185 lbs.) World Title. Parker has won 7 of his last 8 and is on a 4 fight win streak. Parker has 8 of 11 stoppage wins by knock out. Gable has won all his fights via stoppage, with 5 knock outs and 6 submissions. Gable is coming off a KOTC “Summer Smash” knock out win over Tony Cantrell
The events other two KOTC World Title bout will see Amateur Super Flyweight champion Drako Rodriguez defend his title against Steve Merrill and Cassie Robb will challenge Andy Nguyen for the Atomweight (105 lbs.) championship.
