Woodley is a former Strikeforce Welterweight champion, who caped off a 3 fight win streak, with a 1st round KO of Robbie Lawler, at UFC 201 to win the UFC Welterweight World Championship. Thompson is on a 7 fight win streak, coming off a unanimous decision win over Rory MacDonald, who was the last person to defeat Woodley.
