4 Contests Official for UFC 216
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada’s Rogers Place has been announced for the site of September 9th’s UFC 216. The first 4 additions to the card have been announced including a meeting between Flyweight title challengers Henry Cejdo & Wilson Reis.
Starting off his MMA career 10, Cejudo has lost back to back fights to the two guys ranked above him in the division, Champion Demetrious Johnson (tko) & Joseph Benavidez (sd). Reis is coming off having a 3 fight win streak ended, by being submitted by Champion Demetrious Johnson.
Arjan Bhullar a 2012 Canadian, Olympian, in freestyle wrestling, will make his octagon debut against Brazilian, Luis Henrique. Bhullar is 6-0 with 3 wins by technical knock out. Henrique had won back to back fights by submission before a UFC 209, TKO loss to Marcin Tybura.
Undefeated Gavin Tucker, coming off a octagon debut, unanimous decision over Sam Sicilia, will tangle with former WSOF Champion Rick “The Gladiator” Glenn.
In Women’s Bantamweight action California’s Ashlee Evans-Smith squares of with Sarah “Cheescake” Moras. Both are coming off decision losses, but Mores has fought since UFC Fight Night 71, in July of 2015.
