December’s UFC trip to Motor City adds The Predator vs The Reem
Reportedly the co-main event for UFC 218 will be a Heavyweight battle with title shot implications for the winner.
Number 1 ranked Heavyweight contender Alistair “The Reem” Overeem (43-15) will take on number 4 ranked contender Francis “The Pedator” Ngannou (10-1).
Overeem is a former kickboxing and MMA champion, who’s won consecutive contests over Mark Hunt & Fabricio Werdum. Ngannou on a 9 fight win streak, has open eyes and blown minds in his time inside the octagon, all his wins by stoppage with 4 of his 5 in the UFC coming by knock out.
UFC 218 is December 2 at the Little Ceasars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
