Jackson’s MMA Series XXIV set for Feb 24
When the Jackson’s MMA Series is back at Buffalo Thunder on February 24th, they’ll do so with a Bantamweight main event between Long time members of the New Mexico combat sports scene.
The contest will pit Abel “The Silent Assassin” Cullum of Tucimcari against Nick “St. Nick” Gonzalez of Albuquerque.
Abel Cullum 30 (20-6), first stepped in the cage in September of 2009. Cullum, who fights out of his family gym Cullum Submission Fighting, last fought by fight time, 41 months prior, scoring his 2nd of 2 submission wins in RFA in 2014, which was Cullum’s return to action after a 3 year hiatus.
Nick Gonzalez (4-3), who fights out of JacksonWink MMA, has all his victories by stoppage, 2 first round knock outs, and 2 submissions. Gonzalez made his pro debut in July of 2009. A mentor and influence to many, also a coach at United Fit, “St. Nick” has cornered well over 100 fights.
