Updated Jackson’s MMA Series XXIV Line Up
Cullum vs. Gonzalez, is off and Jess “The Vanilla Gorilla” Martinez vs. Roy “Hot Sauce” Saucedo is now the main event for February 24.
Saturday, February 24th, the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino hosts Jackson’s MMA Series XXIV. Doors at the Buffalo Thunder Ballroom will open at 6 with the first bell at 7.
Santa Fe’s, Jess Martinez has college wrestling experience and has completed several times in the Fight to Win grappling events. As an amateur Martinez went undefeated, even capturing a KOTC sw Title. As a pro “The Vanilla Gorilla” has knocked out David Maldonado and took a unanimous decision over Esias Gordo.
Clovis’s, Roy Saucedo is a father of 4 who finds the time to train after putting in a full days work. Saucedo scored 7 of his 8 amateur his by stopped with 5 by submission. As a pro “Hot Sauce” has submitted Nicholas Webb and is coming off a decision win over Ernesto Salvidez from the main event of Jackson’s MMA Series XXIII.
To add a bit of back story Jess Martinez trains with and was in Ernesto Salvidez corner at Jackson’s MMA Series XXIII.
The other pro bout will be the co-main event putting Cody Hoffstatter from JacksonWink MMA against Enrique Gonzalez of the VFS Academy. Hoffstatter is 1-1 in his last 2, defeating Steven Ojeda (TKO) at Jackson’s MMA Series XXIII and suffering a set back to Phil Gonzalez at Rubicon 5. Enrique Gonzalez is also 1-1 in his last 2, having rebounded from a decision loss to Justin Gonzales, by stopping by San Abdulatiff, this past September.
