12 Fights announced for AFL: Southwest Brawl 7
The Las Cruces Convention Center will host American Fight League: Southwest Brawl 7, on March 31st. The at this point 12 fight card has 3 professional & 9 amateur contests.
At Lightweight El Paso’s Andy “Night Night” Varela (1-1) takes on Juarez, Mexico’s Gerardo Chapara. Varela hasn’t fought since an April, knock out loss to Blaze Gill.
In the Middleweight division Red Spiders Randy McCarty (8-9) of Los Cruces, returns to action for the first time since tearing his Achilles, when he faces Tuson, Arizona’s, Jacob Ortiz (15-6). McCarty is coming off a decision win over Richard Guerra, from last February. Ortiz is coming off a knock loss to Roman Kopylov, from Fight Nights Global 69.
At Featherweight representing 12th District from El Paso, Texas, Steve Ojeda (0-2) welcomes Juan Gandara (4-2 amateur, source tapology) from10th Planet El Paso, to the pro ranks.
