Frincu vs Aguilera Tops LFA 44
A meeting between Welterweight strikers Matthew “The Thunder From Down Under” Frincu & Christian “The Beast” Aguilera will take the main event spotlight at LFA 44.
Frincu has showed his technical striking decision-ing Kris Hocum at LFA 5 & stopping Maycon Mendonca at LFA 11. Frincu rebounded from a LFA 24 knockout loss to Curtis Millender at LFA 31 when a knee injury to Roman Alcantar gave Frincu his 7th knock out victory.
Aguilera has been on a tear in 2018 that, knocking out Mayon Mendonca in January, forcing Anthony Hernandez to submit from strikes in February, and in March at LFA 36 knocked out Ricardo Seixas.
The co-main event will be at Bantamweight as Casey Kenny, looks to build off a LFA 31 decision victory over Kendrick Latchmen when he tangles with UFC vet Roman Salazar, who’s won his last 2 by knock out.
Legacy Fight Alliance will present LFA 44 at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, on June 29.
