The highly anticipated professional debut of Jesse “The Tornado” Tafoya will come at June 30th’s Jackson’s MMA Series XXV, against a foe he’s shared the battlefield with before .
The first meeting between Tafoy & fellow pro debut-er George “Buzzsaw” Martinez came at Jackson’s MMA Series XV. The result of the first meeting was Tafoya walking away with a 2nd round submission victory.
During his amateur run Tafoya (11-6 amateur source him) won
individual titles in MMA & Kickboxing, along with being a member of the New Mexico Predators, who won season 2 of the Elite Amateur Fight League. Tafoya closed his amateur run with 3 consecutive wins. The last a 0:51 knock out of Adrian Lopez.
