Interim Featherweight Title on The Line at LFA 47

LFA Featherweight champion Kevin Aguilar just fought days ago on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, moving up to Lightweight for the short notice opportunity, losing a split decision. Now LFA has announced a pair of worthy title challengers will battle for a interim title on August 10.
The LFA 47 main pits Damon “The Leech” Jackson (15-2-1) against “Nasty” Nate Jennerman (12-3). Jackson a 29 year old, UFC vet, training at Fortis MMA in Dallas Texas. Jennerman is a 25 year old training out of Roufusport in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jackson has won 4 straight all by submission, most recently beating Jeremy Spoon at LFA 40. Jenerman won his 3rd straight by submission at LFA 41, catching Kevin Croom in a guillotine.

The co-main event is also at Featherweight with Levi Mowles (9-3) taking on Charles Cheeks III (13-6). Mowles 23, has won 3 in a row, the last 2 by submission, including submitting Ray Trujillo at LFA 40. Cheeks 30, has won 2 straight, submitting Westin Wilson at LFA 26 and bettering Rivaldo Junior by decision at LFA 35.

August 10th LFA 47 takes place at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas.
