Green vs. Klose & Hermansson vs. Meerschaert added to UFC on Fox 31
The total number of fights announced for the final event in the UFC on Fox series event, is up to 4 with today’s announcement of 2 new additions.
At Lightweight “King” Bobby Green (24-8-1) will square off with Drakkar Klose (9-1-1). Green ended a 4 fight win-less stretch in January with a decision win over Eick Koch and has since had two bouts canceled. Klose has won 3 of 4 in the octagon, coming off a UFC 226, decision win over Landon Vannata.
At Middleweight Sweden’s Jack “The Joker” Hermansson (17-4) battles Milwaukee’s Gerald “GM3” Meerschaert (28-9). Hermansson has won 3 of 4 all by tko from ground & pound; most recently defeating Thales Leites at UFC 224. Meerschaert has won 9 of 10, the last 2 over Eric Spicely (tko) & Oskar Piechota (sub).
UFC on Fox 31 is December 15 at the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
