Sakara – Kauppinen Tangel in Bellator 211 Headliner
Bellator MMA will be returning to Italy at the beginning of December, once again with a combined MMA & Kickboxing event.
The mma portion of the card will be headlined by Italy’s own Alessio “Legionarious” Sakara (19-12) against England’s Kent “The Hammerhorn” Kauppinen (10-4). Sakara has won 3 of 4 in Bellator coming off a TKO win over Jamie Sloane. Kauppinen has won 6 of his last 8 and has all of his wins by stoppage, 8 by knock out.
The feature kickboxing bout will see Italy’s Shan Cangelosi (10-6) challenging Canada’s Gabriel Varga (16-6) for the Bellator Kickboxing Featherweight title. This will be Varga’s first defense of the title he defeated Kevin Ross to win.
December 1st Bellator 211 takes place at the RDS Stadium in Genoa, Italy.
