Aldo & Moicano to tangle in February
A key match-up in the UFC’s Featherweight division has been added to UFC on ESPN+ 2.
Former 2-time champion Jose Aldo (27-4) will meet number 4 ranked contender Renato Moicano (13-1-1) on February 2, in Fortaleza, Brazil.
Aldo has gone 1-2 in his last 3, losing the UFC title to Max Holloway at UFC 212, failing to reclaim the belt at UFC 218, both losses third-round technical knock outs, and getting back in the win column taking out Jeremy Stephens, with a wicked body shot at UFC on Fox 30. Moicano didn’t taste defeat until his fifth trip into the octagon when he got submitted by Brian Ortega. The-29-year old has since rebounded defeating Calvin Kattar by decision at UFC 223 and followed it up by submitting Cub Swanson at UFC 227.
