Dodson vs. Yan added to UFC on ESPN+ 3
A Bantamweight bout pitting John “The Magician” Dodson against Petr “No Mercy” Yan has been added to the UFC’s debut in Prague.
Dodson (20-10) a former 2-time Flyweight title challenger is 3-3 since moving to 135 lbs. The 34-year-old has been in some close fights, losing split decisions to Marlon Moraes and John Lineker, while the score cards went in Dodson’s favor when he fought Pedro Munhoz. “The Magician” has 11 finishes, 9 by knockout, including stopping John Dodson to win TUF 14.
Yan (11-1) is 3-0 in the UFC with finishes of Teruto Ishihara and Douglas Andrade. Overall the former ACB champion, has won 6-straight. The 25-year-old, Russian, has 5 of his 6 finishes by knock out.
UFC on ESPN+ 3 is scheduled for February 23rd, at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic.
