Bellator 220 Adds Henderson vs. Piccolotti & Davis vs. McGeary

The Line up for Bellator’s return to San Jose, California, Bellator 220, on April 27, has gained two main card additions.

At Lightweight former UFC & WEC champion Benson “Smooth” Henderson will square off with Adam “The Bomb” Piccolotti. Henderson has won 2 in a row, submitting Roger Huerta at Bellator 196 & handing Saad Awad a decision loss at Bellator 208. Picolotti won his first 9 professional bout before consecutive setback to Goiti Yamuchi and David Rickles. The 30-year-old from Hal Moon Bay, California, has rebounded with victories over Carrington Banks by submission and a decision win over James Terry.

At Light Heavyweight former champions meet for the second time, as Phil “Mr. Wonderful” Davis takes on Liam McGeary. Their first meeting at Bellator 163 saw Davis take the Bellator title from the Englishman, by unanimous decision. Davis 2-2 in his last 4 comes in off a split decision loss to Vadim Nemkov. McGeary comes in off a Bellator 213 third round TKO of Muhammed Lawal, ending a two-fight skid.
