Ray Borg Now Faces Casey Kenney at UFC on ESPN 2
The term card is subject to change is used a lot in combat sports for a good reason, because of opponent could happen at almost any time, even during fight week.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship has announced Casey Kenney will replace Kyer Phillips in a bantamweight against Ray Borg at this weekends UFC on ESPN 2.
Just this past Friday at LFA 62, Kenney made LFA history, knocking out Vince Cachero, winning the LFA interim Bantamweight title, to become the first two-division champion in the promotion’s history. Kenney become the LFA interim Flyweight champion at LFA 53, defeating Brandon Royval by decision.
Borg will be competing for the first time since October of 2017, when “The Tazmexican Devil” was submitted by then UFC Flyweight champion Demetrious Jonson. Since the last time we the grappling ace, who has 6 of his 7 finishes by submission, Borg has dealt with his first born going through serious medical issues, being a victim of the Conor McGregor’s Bus attack, and also becoming ill during fight week.
UFC on ESPN 2 takes place this Saturday, March 30, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphi, Pennsylvania.
