Holloway vs. Volkanovski set for UFC 245

The Featherweight title will be on the line at UFC 245.

Australia’s Alexander “The Great” Volkanovski is set to challenge Hawaii’s Max “Blessed” Holloway for the UFC 145lbs. World title on December 14th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Holloway has won 14 fights in a row at Featherweight. At UFC 236 Holloway jumped up to Lightweight going 5-rounds with Dustin Poirier, for an interim belt, losing by unanimous decision. “Blessed” rebounded at UFC 241 defeating Frankie Edgar for his third successful title defense.

Volkanovski the No. 1 ranked contender is currently on a 17-fight win streak, including being 7-0 inside the octagon. We last saw “The Great” in action at UFC 237 defeating former champion Jose Aldo by unanimous decision. The former pro Rugby player has 14 finishes, 11 by knockout.

UFC 245 is December 14th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
