Bevon Lewis to now face Dequan Townsend at UFC on ESPN+ 24
The injury bug has bit and forced Alen Amedovski to withdraw from facing Bevon Lewis at UFC Fight Night 166.
Lewis is an LFA vet who earned his UFC contract after a pair of TKO wins on Dana White’s Contender Series. The fighter nicknamed “The Extraordinary Gentelman” has half of his wins by knockout. Tonwsend has won six of his last eight fights. Nicknamed “The Tarantula”, Towsend has 15 finishes, 12 by knockout. Both men are strikes first and are in hunt for their first official octagon victory.
UFC on ESPN+ 24/ UFC Fight Night 166 is January 25th at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.
