Three heavy hitting match-ups on tap for UFC Columbus
The UFC will be in Columbus, Ohio for UFC Fight Night 172. The main event will strongly encouraged everyone to not blink.
Following a 5th round knockout victory over Alistair Overeem in the main event of UFC on ESPN 7, Jairzinho Rozenstruik made his intentions for his next fight very clear. Rozenstruik called out Francis N’Gannou for a meeting in either March or April. The UFC heard the request and have Obliged.
The Heavyweight bout will headline the UFC Fight Night card at the Nationwide Arena in March 28th.
Rozenstruik has won all four of his UFC fights by knockout. N’Gannou has won three-fights in a row all by first round knockout. In less then three minutes of cage time.
The card will also see a top ten bantamweight matchup. Former champion, number eight ranked contender Cody “No Love” Garbrandt against number five ranked contender, Brazil’s, Raphael Assuncao.
Unbeaten, Brazilian, Carlos Felipe makes his octagon debut against former LFA champion Jeff Hughes; an alumni of the contender series.
