Southwest MMA Series XXXI headlined by “The Gentleman” against “The Lion”
Two of the top 170 lbs. prospects in New Mexico are set to headline Southwest MMA Series XXXI on April 4th at Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino.
Currently there’s a nine-fight in place. The main event a Welterweight contest between top prospects, Jalin “The Gentleman” Fuller versus Kenan “The Lion” Jackson.
Fuller (3-0) fights out of Luttrell/Yee MMA & Fitness. “The Gentleman” followed up a success pro debut at LFA 58 by knocking Kemoy Anderson unconscious in the main event of Southwest MMA Series XXIX. Fast forward four months and it took Fuller just 12 seconds to dispatch of Gabe Rodriguez.
Jackson (1-0) is a member of the U.S. Air Force stationed at Kirkland Air Force base and train out of Jacksonwink MMA. Jackson scored a TKO win in just under three minutes in his pro debut at JW Fight Night 5, this past May. Immediately after the fight Jackson went on a tour of deputy overseas. Now back home “The Lion” is eager to continue is MMA journey towards MMA supremacy.
Outside of the main event the rest of the announced card is amateur action featuring such gyms as Desert Dynasty, Jackson’s Acoma, Elevation Boxing & Fitness, Fit NHB, Elite Fight Team, Jacksonwink MMA, Luttrell/Yee, Zia Fight Club, Genesis MMA, City of Wolves, & United Fit.
