Stamman vs. Kelleher gives UFC 250 a 11-fight card
As requested, Brian Kelleher will be getting a quick turn around and big opportunity.
At UFC Fight Night Smith vs. Teixeira, Brain Kelleher embodied his nickname “Boom”, as a left hook knocked Hunter Azure from the ranks of the unbeaten’s. A big knockout to follow up on his January submission Ode Osbourne. Kelleher will now look to make his way into the ranking, taking on number 12 ranked contender Cody Stamman, just over three weeks after the Azure fight.
Stamman started his UFC career at 3-0, getting the better half of two split decisions. After being submitted by Aljamain Sterling, Stamman got back in the win column with a decision win over Alejandro Perez. We last saw Stamman in December fighting Song Yadong to a majority draw. The Michigan native was scheduled to face Raoni Barcelos on March 28th but the current Covid-19 pandemic cancelled the event.
UFC 250 is set for June 6th at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
