Handful of fights slated For UFC Fight Night on July 15
The first five bouts for the second event on Fight Island have been made public.
First ever UFC women’s strawweight champion Carla Esparza, the number seven ranked contender will square off with number nine ranked contender Marina Rodriguez. Both are unbeaten in their last three fights.
Originally scheduled for May, rebooked for June, and now rescheduled for July; Ariane Lipski looks to end Luana Carolina’s six-fight win streak.
Abdul Razak Alhassan returns to the octagon after two years away, dealing with a sexual assault charge, to welcome knockout artist Mounir Lazzez to the UFC.
On a three-fight win streak Molly McCann will square off with Taila Santos who earned her UFC contract on the Contender Series. In a battle between promotional new-comers former Fight Night Global champion Tagir Ulanbekov faces former M-1 champion Alesander Doskalchuk.
The July 15th UFC Fight Night event on Fight Island is expected to be streamed on ESPN+.
