2020 Contender Series, Episode 10 Easy Read Results
The UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts week ten of the 2020 season of Dana White’s Contender Series on ESPN+. This week ten more competitors do battle in hopes of impressing Dana White enough to earn a UFC contract.
The main event has South Africa’s JP Buys against Texan Jacob “Lil Animal” Silva. Buys has won four in a row all by stoppage, while Silva had a six-fight win streak ended in August on the Contender Series but impressed enough to get the call back. Unbeaten Nick Maximov jumps up to heavyweight for a battle with heavy-handed Mexican, Oscar Cota. Featured fight has unbeaten Judo master Paulin “Pita” Macias takes on Brazilian striker Gloria de Paula. Back for their second appearances Sherrard Blackledge faces Tucker Lutz both won their first fight in the UFC Apex by decision. The card starts with unbeaten Australian striker Chelsea Hackett fighting Louisiana, grappler Victoria Leonardo.

- Lightweight Bout: Tucker Lutz (11-1) def. Sherrard Blackiedge (5-1) by (30-27 x3) unanimous decision
- Women’s Flyweight Bout: Victoria Leonardo (8-2) def. Chelsea Hackett (3-1-1) vs. by TKO (ground & pound) 4:41 R2
