Jerome Rivera’s Next Bout will be on Fight Island
Santa Fe’s Jerome “The Renegade” Rivera will start his 2021 on Fight Island welcoming the Flyweight champions brother to the octagon.
Francisco Figueiredo will make his octagon debut being unbeaten in his last three fights. His last two wins come by knockout. Rivera will step into the octagon for the 2nd time after having earned his UFC contract during the 2020 Contenders Series. The “Renegade” has won three of his last four fights, finishing two by subsmission. In all the 25-year-old has all seven of his finishes by submission.
The bantamweight contest will be part of UFC Fight Night “Edwards vs. Chimaev”, January 20th, on Fight Island.
It’s being wildly reported that the card has also gained Mike Jackson againsr Dean Barry. Jackson was last in action at UFC 225 beating CM Punk by decision. Barrys comes in with all three od his wins by first round knockout.
