April will see One in Primetime on TNT
One on TNT, a new series from Asian martial arts promotion One Championship has been announced for April.
Exciting news to see how the relationship between One Championship & the Turner Broadcasting company is growing. The One on TNT series will air following AEW Dynamite at 10 p.m. ET.
The first event will be April 7th. In the main former UFC champion, One Flyweight Grand Prix winner, Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson faces One champion Adriano Moraes. Also at lightweight former Bellator & UFC champion Eddie Alvarez takes on submission artist Iuri Lapicus.
On April 14th Hawaii’s Christian Lee defends the One lightweight championship against number three ranked contender Timofey Nastyukhin from Russia.
And on April 21st former two division One champion, Aung La N Sang meets Vitaly Bigdash in a trilogy bout. The two split their first two meetings, each having won a decision. The winner is expected to be the next challenger for One Middleweight champion Reinier de Ridder.
There’s also expected to be a April 28th event, but no details were announced.
