LFA 106 headlined by Silveria vs. Viana
The third consecutive week of LFA action will be headlined by a light-heavyweight showdown.
The main event will see unbeaten Josh Silveria against former RFA title challenger Rafael Viana. As the son of American Top Team co-founder Conan Silveira, Josh Silveria has had the eyes of the MMA world on him since his pro debut in 2019. Silveria has finishes in all four of his victories including submitting Fernaando Alvarado by arm-triangle at LFA 93 & forcing Matt Paul to tap from a rear naked choke. Viana is a training partner of UFC title challenger Glover Teixeira and returns to competition five years after breaking his hand against Devin Clark at RFA 37.
The co-main event will see Toninho “Marajo” Gavinho against Terance “T. Wrecks” McKinney. Gavinho has won three in a row coming off a split decision win over Josh Marsh from LFA 80. At LFA 58 Gavinho knocked out Vince Fricilone with a flying keen in 40 seconds, following up on a 14 second knockout of Derek Perez. Mckinney is a vet of Dana White’s Contender Series, who has a 100% finishing rate. And has six of his eight finishes by submission.
LFA 106 takes place at the Grand Casino Resort in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
