Simply Results: UFC 262
The Toyota Center in Houston, Texas hosts UFC 262. The 12-fight crad is headlined by a showdown between Charles “Do Bronx” & “Iron” Michael Chandler to crown a new UFC lightweight champion.
Oliveria has been on the UFC roster since 2010. In his 18 UFC victories the Brazilan has the most submission wins all time (14). Also his 16 finishes overall have Oliveria tied for first with Donald Cerrone. “Do Bronx” comes in on an eight fight win streak that includes seven finishes. Chandler is a three time Bellator lightweight champion. The 35-year-old made his promotional debut in January knocking out Dan Hooker in two an a half minutes with a letf hook. The win was Chandler third consecutive first round knockout.
The co-main event is also in the lightweiht division as number five ranked Tony Ferguson takes on number nine Beneil Daruish. Daruish comes in on a six fight win streak with finishes in four. Ferguson is a former interim champion who after a 12 fight win streak has lost his last two.
