Holly Holm Heading into Boxing Hall of Fame
Long before she was headlining UFC cards Holly Holm was blazing a championship trail inside the square circle which will be immortalized this coming June.
“The Preacher’s Daughter” will be part of the International Boxing Hall of Fame Class of 2022. The star-studded class will include Miguel Cotto, Roy Jones Jr., James Toney, Regina Halmich, Bill Caplan, Ron Borges, Bob Yalen, Tod Morgan, & Chuck Hull. The ceremony will be part of an extravaganza celebrating the 2020, 2021, & 2022 classes.
Holm retired from boxing with a (33-2-3) record while being a 14-time world champion across three-divisions. During her Boxing career Holm picked up notable victories over Christy Martin, Anne Sophie Mathis, Mary Jo Sanders, Mia St. John, & Mary McGree. This past August Holm was inducted into the New Mexico sports Hall of Fame an honor she earned in 2019 but was delayed due to Covid-19.
Holm is 12-5 as an MMA fighter having won the Legacy FC & UFC Women’s Bantamweight championships of the world.
