Simply Results UFC 269
The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Nevada hosts UFC 269. The 15-fight card features a championship double header.
The main event has Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira defending the UFC Lightweight world title against former interim champion Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier. Similarly, both men started their careers off as featherweights ultimately achieving their greatest successes once they moved up in weight. Oliveira put the ultimate cherry on his sundae when he capped his nine-fight win streak off by a comeback knockout win over Michael Chandler at UFC 262 to win the UFC lightweight championship. Poirier has become one of the sports most beloved figures with his charitable work through the Good Fight Foundation and one of its biggest stars after two knockouts of former two-division champ Conor McGregor.
The co-main event will see two-division champion Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes defending her Bantamweight championship against TUF 18 winner Julianna “The Venezuelan Vixen” Pena. Nunes is on a 12-fight win streak the last nine have all been title fights. Pena is 6-2 in the UFC coming off submitting Sara McMann in January.
