Perez vs. Njani headlines Legacy Boxing Promotions Battle at 5 Points
For the first time in over three years Legacy Boxing promotions is taking Boxing back to 5 Points.
The Empire Events Center which last saw Boxing in November of 2018 when it hosted the State Sliver Gloves tournament, will host the “Battle at 5 Points” on April 22nd. And this will be Legacy Boxing Promotions follow up event to “Back to Boxing” from this past October.
At “Back to Boxing” we saw the successful pro debut of 2020 Olympic qualifier Abraham “The Hammer” Perez. Less then a month later Perez ran his record to 2-0, neither fight got past the first round. In the main event of “Battle at 5 Points” Perez is scheduled for a six-rounder against 19-fight vet Mulapi “The African Mexican” who’s fighting out of San Diego California. Njani is 4-0-1 over his last five fights, all four wins have come by knockout.
Moving on down the card you have a match-up between unbeaten Heavyweights as Leoni “Baby Drago” Grachev squares off with Jonathan “Pizza” Abeyta who called out Grachev for this fight. Not to mention talented amateurs Justice Jiron, Katherine Renee Lindenmuth, & Maximus Moya are all set to make their pro debuts. I mention them as so because I’ve seen them in action. Saul Gomez, Kara Liebowtiz, and the match-up of Daniel Gonzalez vs. Manuel Carballo are also all making their pro debuts and introductions.
