Simply Results UFC Vegas 50
The UFC Apex in Las Vegas hosts UFC Fight Night exclusively available on ESPN+. The 14-fight card is headlined by a top ten Light-heavyweight clash.
The main event will see former title challenger number five ranked Thiago Santos squaring off against number six ranked Magomed Ankalaev. This past October Santos ended a three-fight skid taking a unanimous decision win over Johnny Walker. It was the Brazilians first win since double knee surgery. Santos is in place to eestablish himself as viable threat to the title. Ankalalaev is on a seven-fight win streak with four wins by knockout, including a decision win over former title challenger Volkan Oezdemir in his last outing. An impressive win should put the 29-year-old at the front of the line for a title shot.
The co-main event is in the Bantamweight division as number 10 ranked Marlon Moraes battles number 14 Song Yadong. The feature fight is also a top 15-matchup as number 12 ranked Featherweight Sodiq Yusuff takes on number 15 Alex Caceres.
